What a day!

Today has been THE most eventful day in my life for a looooooong time! Okay, well it all started....

This morning when I decided that rather than WALK the 3.5 miles to get to my current job, I would take roller blades. It was a smart decision, until I reached the near end, which was the one portion of the entire trip that had no sidewalks.. Striving past that, I reached the place of my employment, which is in an area bare from all sorts of fast food restaurants, or convenience stores, or even gas stations! Walking into the office, I asked if where the nearest place to get food would be (because they would OBVIOUSLY have beverages.... right?). In any case, I was directed down the street, where I had to skate another mile through thick grass which was more of a dragging of my feet.

Not long after this long, grueling mile, I reached a QuikTrip (Salvation at last!!!) I then bought a 52 oz drink and a monster, and left the gas station, and sat down on the curb, and began to do a little bit of work for when it was time for me to go into the office. As I was sitting there, a beaufitul woman would pull up and begin to fill her car. I checked her out a little bit, and she saw me, but then I gave my undivided attention to my work. After getting about two numbers done, I'd hear someone say, "Hey, need a ride?"

In my mind, I was scoping out this scenario, that this beautiful woman would see me and offer me a ride! I was taken aback by it at first, and a little skeptical since I really didn't want to impose, and at a gas station (Of all places!). But she insisted, so I took the offer and she drove me back to the office. It was obvious what she was planning next, but I didn't have the time because work was about to start in 10 minutes, which might lead to me getting fired from the job I just got. It was tough, but I managed to say no and get to my job on time, and she left. Upon entering and signing in, I found out it started an hour LATER than I had expected. So I had an hour and ten minutes, not just ten.

Ohhh the joys of irony.
