Account Problems

So today I was just told that I was apparently using the wrong routing number for both of the accounts that pay me.. So I'm not getting any of my paychecks for the next week.. THIS SUCKS. And on top of that, working for Vector Marketing (The sales branch for Cutco Knives), I just saw a commercial that tried to make our knives look bad. I think it's hilariously funny, because all of the things they showed were absolutely useless compared to the Cutco knives I sell. I laugh at their comparison as though their much better. Just goes to show you that we are much better than them. Haha. Any views and points on this "yoshi blade" and any comparison between it and the Cutco knives?

What a day!

Today has been THE most eventful day in my life for a looooooong time! Okay, well it all started....

This morning when I decided that rather than WALK the 3.5 miles to get to my current job, I would take roller blades. It was a smart decision, until I reached the near end, which was the one portion of the entire trip that had no sidewalks.. Striving past that, I reached the place of my employment, which is in an area bare from all sorts of fast food restaurants, or convenience stores, or even gas stations! Walking into the office, I asked if where the nearest place to get food would be (because they would OBVIOUSLY have beverages.... right?). In any case, I was directed down the street, where I had to skate another mile through thick grass which was more of a dragging of my feet.

Not long after this long, grueling mile, I reached a QuikTrip (Salvation at last!!!) I then bought a 52 oz drink and a monster, and left the gas station, and sat down on the curb, and began to do a little bit of work for when it was time for me to go into the office. As I was sitting there, a beaufitul woman would pull up and begin to fill her car. I checked her out a little bit, and she saw me, but then I gave my undivided attention to my work. After getting about two numbers done, I'd hear someone say, "Hey, need a ride?"

In my mind, I was scoping out this scenario, that this beautiful woman would see me and offer me a ride! I was taken aback by it at first, and a little skeptical since I really didn't want to impose, and at a gas station (Of all places!). But she insisted, so I took the offer and she drove me back to the office. It was obvious what she was planning next, but I didn't have the time because work was about to start in 10 minutes, which might lead to me getting fired from the job I just got. It was tough, but I managed to say no and get to my job on time, and she left. Upon entering and signing in, I found out it started an hour LATER than I had expected. So I had an hour and ten minutes, not just ten.

Ohhh the joys of irony.

BOOYAH!

So today I had the lucky chance to go to a place and take an interview for a job. At first, I was skeptical on the business, but I decided to give it a chance. So I was driven down to Norcross, where the center was, and had the interview. We went through the entire interview thing, and he started to call people one by one to tell them if they made the team or not. I was the second of the last to be called, so I had doubts and was expecting to not make the team. However, I was surprised at the outcome! I'M OFFICIALLY EMPLOYED NOW! WHOOOO!!

Parkour.... fail.

Well, my friend and I were originally supposed to go downtown to film some parkour scenes, however, the person we had to meet rescheduled for today, so the videos and pictures will most likely be coming in today at around 10 PM. Thank you to all my followers for your support and be looking for those pictures and videos coming soon!

Parkour Day

Well today my friend made a meeting with an important client for our parkour skills. So today, we are heading down to Atlanta and preparing to make a video or some pictures for the man's clothing line. I don't know all of the details, but I know I'll be filled in on the way there. I'll be back at around 10 PM to post any video, pictures, and links to anything we do!

Cat Playing "I Spy"

I don't know why this video is as funny as it is, but if everyone hasn't seen this video before they die, it is a crime!

MY CAR!!!..... not

So a few days ago I was looking at cars on craigslist hoping to find one that I'd be able to buy. I found a really cheap 300ZX which had a turbo and the owner was only selling it for $800 (THIS IS A CRIME). So I called him and asked him what was wrong with the car, and he said the only problem was the distributors (which distribute sparks to the pistons), went out and he had a new one ready to be replaced. I was so happy to hear that, because one of my friends (who is a gearhead), has the EXACT same car, and knows how to fix this EXACT same problem. But.... The second I ask the man if he could hold the car for me, he says he can't and has to sell it to the first person who has the money. I am currently jobless and looking for means to buy myself a car. So the beautiful 300ZX is out of my reach.. (sadface)

Recent Tumbling

After my last post, I decided to go back into the gym and tumble a few times, and work on all the skills that I had acquired over the last week. Walking into the gym on Sunday for tryouts, I managed to land a handspring-double and a whip-double. However, the handspring-whip-double seemed too far out of my reach. For some reason, when the season ends, you get so much better than you actually think you are, but then as it starts to progress into the season, you start to get worse and lose skills. I'm not going to let that happen to my whip-double or handspring-double. This is my year.

Out Of Season Tumbling

What is it about the end of a season that makes someone feel as if they can do absolutely anything? During the season, I struggled with the thought of a handspring-handspring-double. However, only yesterday did I return to the gym after the season had ended, and I threw my first front through to arabian through to double. I don't know what happened there, but it was landed, and I'm working on that now. Soon after that, I began working on whips. Not before the end of the night did I land a whip-double, which I had not done since the end of the season before the previous one. I was so excited that I decided to try another nostalgic pass. I tried a hangspring-double the first time, but did not land clean and touched down. Moving on to the next one, I tried it again, and landed it extremely clean.

Yesterday, I was in the gym with my coach and he saw that I had landed whip doubles majority of the time. It wasn't long after that that I threw another handspring-double and landed it clean again. He called me over and told me to try something that I would not dare try by my own thoughts. He wanted me to go for a handspring-whip-double. I was a little baffled at the time and surprised, but then I went for a handspring-whip-tuck for a timer, and realized I had more than enough height to land it. The next time I took the corner, I went for a handspring whip double, and landed it clean. I don't know why this always happens before every season, but I'm glad it did this time.
